ParaLib – Parallel Computational Methods Library

The ParaLib (Parallel Library) library is designed for the study and comparative examination of various parallel algorithmic languages and parallel software development technologies. For executing parallel experiments, the library provides a control system. Its dialog window is presented on the picture below.


The ParaLib control system provides the following.

  • Selection of problem and solution method.
  • Context information.
  • Execution of computational experiments.
  • Accumulation and analysis of the computational experiment results.
  • Visual comparison of experimental execution time.

To implement all of the described functions, the parallel algorithm architecture library and control system are organized as a system of functionally-oriented software layers. The architecture is open and extensible.
